Likes: Her pets, the ocean, dragons, snowy terrain, breathtaking scenery, new weapons and armor, deer, bounty hunts, soft textures, scalding baths, smell of rain, raspberries, lilies.
Dislikes: Goblins, humid/hot weather, chickens, big bulky armor, large bugs, disobedience, cramped taverns, politics, mindless killing.
Hobbies
● Training- Most of her time is devoted to honing her skills. She can take out any pent up frustration on a poor little practice target, or try out a new move.
● Roaming- Lycidas is and will probably always be a loner. She dislikes bonding with others since she travels around. Being able to leave and explore is something she must be able to do. Though she wouldn't be opposed to someone sharing this ideal and traveling with her.
Boyo
They meet in a tavern about to take on the same job with two others. When the job goes south and the other two don't make it, they work together to get out of the dungeon. Basking in the heavy reward, both agree to keep in touch as they share the same wandering tendencies. Later they seek out each other for missions and form a strong bond of trust and maybe something more.
Willow
Through a slight mishap, Willow prevented her from being attacked. Lycidas follows a strict Elven Code and has since been protecting the witch. She hated her indifference to her oath at first, but kept her word. They've never been put into a similar situation, so she still sticks around. Their companionship is odd at best. Lycidas does eventually consider her a friend and is relieved of her oath later. While she leaves for her own adventures, she returns to visit the witch.
Lycidas is an accomplished mercenary for hire. Her latest mission takes her to an enchanted forest know for causing travelers to become lost or missing. Growing up in similar woods and possessing magical abilities, she thinks hunting down the dangerous witch lurking within will be a breeze. Unaware the creatures inside are tainted with magic themselves. Through a series of careless mistakes on her end, she is saved by said witch and begrudgingly follows her life oath. She realizes the men she took the commission from were lying about the severity of the witches crimes. The witch, while cheeky and annoying, doesn't terrorize the neighboring villages or raise undead dragons and fiends. She tracks down the men to question and dispose of them.
While working alongside the witch, she picks up new abilities and a better understanding of the world and past in concern for magical beings. Lycidas is surprised to here just how old the witch is and grows to respect her in a way. When the witch isn't acting like a child that is. At some point she begins to consider the witch a friend. The witch knows of their elven companions longing to adventure and devises a plan to relieve Lycidas of her oath. A very overdramatic on her part set up and she sends the huntress off with a wink and a threat to send letters.
Lycidas goes back to doing what she does best, but now has a friend and place to return to should she need a breather.
